Mrs. Kerry Boatright
I am from a town right outside of Chicago, Illinois... Go Bears! I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. During my years in college, I completed two internships rehabilitating birds of prey and zookeeping at the Brookfield Zoo. This experience coupled with my love of Science landed me a zookeeping job at the Fort Worth Zoo upon graduating, bringing me 1,000 miles south to Texas. While I was a full-time zookeeper, I met my husband and decided to get my teaching certification. In 2008, I became a teacher but have continued to hold on to my zookeeping career by working part-time at the zoo. In 2015, our daughter was born and completed our little family.
I am very passionate about teaching Science and love seeing young minds light up when they make real world connections and unravel the phenomena that govern our natural world and beyond!

Mr. Christopher Mills
Hello there! I'm a proud Fort Worth native with a passion for education and a deep connection to my community. My academic journey led me to the University of North Texas (UNT), where I pursued my Bachelor's degree in Development and Family Studies.
My career in education has been a dynamic one. I initially started as a science teacher in middle school, inspiring young minds to explore the wonders of the natural world. My commitment to fostering a love for learning led me to RALC, where I transitioned to teaching reading in 5th grade. I had the privilege of helping students unlock the magic of literature and develop essential literacy skills.
My journey continued and now I'm taking on Social Studies in 4th and 5th. Teaching this subject allows me to nurture a deeper understanding of history, culture, and civic responsibility in my students. I find great satisfaction in guiding them towards becoming informed and engaged citizens.
In essence, my life's mission is to contribute to the growth and development of Fort Worth's youth through education. Whether it's through the exploration of science, the magic of reading, or the lessons of history, I am dedicated to helping my students thrive and succeed in the vibrant community we call home.
