Mrs. Misty Piniecki Sanchez
I began my teaching journey in Marshall, Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from East Texas Baptist University in 2005. I started as a kindergarten teacher in Marshall. The next school year, I traveled south to Metairie in Jefferson Parish, part of New Orleans metropolitan area. I started the year in kindergarten. Mother nature had another idea for me. Hurricane Katrina caused me to travel north to Fort Worth. I was hired on at Riverside Applied Learning Center the following year. I have taught kindergarten through fifth grade, became a math coach for two years, and developed curriculum and delivered instruction to gifted and talented students for Fort Worth Independent School District.
I enjoy inspiring young minds. My goals as an educator are to have my students feel like they belong, think creatively, fall in love with learning, and become a positive, productive member of Riverside Applied Learning Center.
